The user authorizes Midx on TikTok. Midx uses the granted basic profile and publishing permissions only to identify the connected creator, load posting capabilities, and complete the requested upload.

The user selects the original MP4 or MOV, writes the caption, chooses a privacy option returned by TikTok, controls comments, Duet and Stitch, and selects a cover frame.

Commercial-content choices, AI labeling, TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation, and the Branded Content Policy acknowledgement are shown before publishing whenever they apply.

The browser uploads the selected file to the upload URL issued by TikTok. Midx does not add a watermark or silently reuse the video. Processing status is checked and shown to the user.

Midx does not publish on a schedule or without a user action. The connected account, available privacy levels, duration limits, and interaction capabilities are loaded before a post is initialized.

TikTok access credentials are encrypted and kept on the server. The original video is not stored by the Midx backend. Users can disconnect, request access to their data, or request deletion.
